Quite aside from the stunning finish, this 8 Cup Norpro Krona just blows me away with it’s brilliant design. Although considerably taller and narrower than most other pots of equal capacity, it is not the least “tippy”; guess the signature welded (not riveted!) Norpro solid bar handle being angled downward gives it such great balance. Another pleasant surprise, there is actually a bit of head space above the 8 cup fill line — quite unusual, in that most cooking vessels need to be filled to the point of overflow to reach their advertised volume (as do both other Kronas in my collection.) And the spiffy little spout and dual straining lid work perfectly together; it’s sooo refreshing to pour from a pot without any of the contents dribbling down the sides to scorch on my glass-top range. Only wish now that this company offered a stainless deep fryer, I’d be all over one with a glass lid and pour spout.

A cook pot with far lass boil-over opportunity due to it’s height. An unbelievable space saver in the cupboard and on the stove.A handle that doesn’t hover over another burner or needed counter space and is not easy to reach by children.A draining feature, sort-of colander with two hole sizes in the lid.A tea kettle that you can visibly tell if it is clean inside; that you can reach your hand in to thoroughly clean.Narrow enough for camp stove.I highly recommend this pot for small spaces, small back-burners, and minimalism lifestyle where items need to be versatile. Yaaaa hooooo!

I really like this pot for making herbal teas, it just is not big enough, but they have a 12 cup also. The pot is marked on the inside for 2-8 cup measurements, but the 8 cup mark is almost on the lip so you can’t really go that high on it because the stuff will boil over be it soup or tea or just boiling hot water for something. But it is still an excellent pot.

This pot is a winner in my kitchen, I am reaching for it to boil pasta, steam vegetables and warm soup. The stainless steel is very durable, shinny and easy to keep clean inside and outside. I am going to have this pot for a long time, yes five stars speak volume. I like the lid because I can see inside, I had a non-stick pot and did not perform as desired, I give good care to my pot, this one is a keeper for a long time. Reliable product and the price is right for me.

I bought this for my daughter who is a college student. She loves it! She has had many friends comment on it. It is the perfect size to make a box of macaroni and cheese, spaghetti sauce or soup. She also cooks other pasta in it and the lid works well as a strainer. This is good as multi-use items are perfect for limited space in dorm rooms. This is a great, versatile pot for small quantities of food.

This is a great pot. Love the fact that it has the cup measurements actually inside the pot. It is the perfect size and shape for me. The lid has two strainer setting built in. One side is small holes and the other side has larger holes. This is really handy since you can easily strain angel hair pasta without it going through the holes. Also, browned ground beef. But if you have larger foods or pasta like bow ties, they drain quickly with the larger holes without falling through. The pot is really well made and the handle makes draining the pot comfortable too. It is the perfect size for making pasta or soup for 2 to 4 people. It heats evenly and since it is stainless steel, it is easy to clean! This will become my new “go to” pot for almost everything! Love it

This is one of the handiest pans I use in the kitchen. Came across it when looking for a 2-qt saucepan – read the reviews, gave it a try based on all good comments, so glad I did. Best part is its cooking versatility, along with compact size which works perfectly on small burners. It’s heavy stainless steel has proven to be durable. I hand-wash to keep it looking it’s best on the stove – and do reach for it everyday. Here’s list of things I’ve cooked so far with good results: boil 4 med-sz potatoes, steam veggies & side dishes such as rice and pasta; hot chocolate (as always stir slowly to prevent scorched milk); mix pancake batter, sauces & gravies (pouring spout a plus). Anything cooked in a sauce pan, this is even better due to its height, the draining lid, useful spout, and close handle (handle doesn’t get hot on glass top stove). Definitely a plus in the kitchen, and though it is similar in use, I feel it beats a saucepan and is a good buy. (Incidentally, I found the lid fits perfectly on a larger 11-cup version of same pot made by Kuhn Rikon/Switzerland – on Amazon too).
