The good: It looks nice. The bad: The instructions are useless-to-non-existant. I had this device all boxed up with the return UPS label from Amazon. The device was going back! It was a disaster. A great disappointment. I put ONE pad on my wife’s shoulder, hooked it up, turned on the machine: NOTHING. I went through all the modes and all the power settings: NOTHING. As I said a great disappointment as my wife has a serious pain issue in her neck and shoulder and I was hoping this device would bring her some relief. But this thing was useless. But I made one last attempt and googled/youtubed again. Finally, I ran across a video in which a guy used a similar device in a demonstration and I noticed he put TWO pads on his arm, and a lightbulb went off in my head: you have to use TWO pads to complete the circuit. ONE pad alone will not work. Maybe I’m stupider than most. Anyway with that insight, we got the thing working and it seems to be doing what it is supposed to do.I’ll make Ohuhu a deal: Get someone to write some real instructions and I’ll raise it to 4-stars. Get something on Ohuhu.com about this device (and not colored pencils and makeup brushes). I just found it. It is four pages down in the website. Get that fixed and I’ll raise my rating to 5-stars.Seriously, you’ve got a device that works. It looks good. All that’s missing is a piece of paper that clearly explains how to use it. That shouldn’t be too hard to do.FOLLOW-UP NOTE: Ohuhu sent me some excellent instructions, so I am going to change my rating to 4-stars. I hope they post them on the Ohuhu website so they can easily be found, and I hope they include these same instructions in their packaging. Thank you Ohuhu.

I’m an ICU nurse so I have back pain, elbow pain & whatever else decides to hurt after my 12hr shift. I have tried many creams & pain pills but not one particular thing relieved all the different types of pain I experience. My physical therapist used a TENS on my elbow & it worked so I decided to look for one. This is my first TENS. It came in timely manner. 6 pair of different size pads to chose from, a USB plug & port for charging & 2 cords for dual therapy if needed. The instructions are confusing at first but I got the hang of how to change within modes quickly. It’s small & light weight. I highly recommend this to someone who has chronic pain. I’ve used it on my upper & lower back, elbows & abdomen. Much better than popping pills & smelling like creams.

I have back pain for a longtime. I have tried many creams & pain pills but not one particular thing relieved all the different types of pain I experience. This is my first TENS. It’s small & light weight. I’ve used it on my upper & lower back, Much better than popping pills & smelling like creams. The screen is very easy to read and you have 16 massage options to choose .This is the first I’ve felt relief in about a week in a half. My back has been in spasm for that long.So happy with this purchase

Did this seriously cost just $29.99? It feels just like the one my chiropractor uses on me.Awhile ago I purchased the Icy Hot Back Pain TENS Unit from Target. I wish I had purchased this one instead. It’s about 20 times better than the Icy Hot – no joke. This is the first I’ve felt relief in about a week in a half. My back has been in spasm for that long.So happy with this purchase! Don’t hesitate to get one yourself.

I will never live without a TENS unit again! It’s on my top “if you’re stranded what would you want” list, right next to coffee. That goes for TENS units in general. I have Ehlers Danlos, a connective tissue disorder caused by collagen malfunction. It causes wide spread, sometimes Very intense pain that meds rarely do anything for. Thankfully TENS units give me a distracting sensation that will allow me some peace, and if I leave it on long enough(sometimes days at a time) it will numb some areas for a week or two. No, I am Not recommending others do that, I have a terminal condition that already causes neurological damage, at least this is a positive one if I am causing any, which I’m not convinced I am. Just stating this so you understand my review and where I’m coming from more clearly.I own several TENS units, this is one I go to more often then the others for several reasons. First it has 2 ports on the bottom and I have additional lead lines that were purchased separately so it allows me to hook up to 8 lines at a time. I like that these ports are universal and can use other products with it! Now granted, the power output does diminish when I try to push power through that many lines, but I can still bump it high enough to do the job. Just be aware that if you remove a patch and still have at least 2 connected, the power going though them will jump significantly and it can be startling the first time. Just lower the level or turn it off before moving a pad around. Another thing I like is that it is rechargeable, and holds a charge for a Very long time. I’m constantly amazed that I can wear this thing for several days with continuous usage and it doesn’t lose a single bar. The down side is that the charger that comes with it is not universal, so don’t lose it. And since you can’t put batteries in it you might be in a pinch if you misplace the charger. The functions, well it almost has too many and I wish there was a cheat sheet of which did what patterns. Eventually I may make myself one. Another minor irritation is the back lighting goes out after only a second so I often don’t have enough time to feel the sensation pattern to know if I want to use it before the light goes off and if I’m in the dark, that means it’s constantly flashing on and off, which if I have a headache can be uncomfortable. It’s also not quite as intuitive as some of my other models have been and takes a bit of a learning curve. Not great to try and figure out when you’re in extreme pain. Didn’t take long, but it’s also awkward to try to explain to others how to use it. At least I’ve found it so, others may not have these issues. Again, I have had some cognitive neurological damage and sometimes fight for my words. Others I had were very simple, on/off, a couple pattern choices you turn a knob to and increase or decrease. Nice and simple straightforward. But I do like that I can set this to go for up to an hour and that’s longer than my others. This is also very small, which is nice, I can put it in my pocket and carry conveniently. Well, as convenient as wires sticking out everywhere can be. Haha The size is actually half the size of my smart phone, so fits in any pocket comfortably.I’ve been using this device for several months in what I would say is excessive amounts and it’s holding up beautifully. I never review if I haven’t had a chance to thoroughly put something through it’s paces. And this has certainly passed all my tests. Just shy of a 5 over those minor things with the light, charger, learning curve and no cheat sheet. Otherwise I’m very happy with my purchase.

The portable massager is easy to use and help me to release the pain of shoulder. Worth the money I spent!

This thing is very impressive. I have multiple sclerosis, so after becoming weaker and falling a couple of times, I ordered one of these. My neurologist’s nurse told my mother it was just what happens with MS. I’m sorry, but I refuse to accept. After receiving this and using it only one night, when I woke up the next morning I could already tell a difference! This device is worth so much more than the price.
